BULL: And then what happened?
MATADOR: She left.
BULL: Right then?
MATADOR: Yeah. She stood up and walked out.
BULL: Wow. When was that?
MATADOR: Today. This morning.
BULL: Oh, this just happened?
BULL: Oh, okay. I’m sorry.
MATADOR: Why do you think I’m freaking out right now?
BULL: Well, I thought maybe you were scared of me.
MATADOR: What? No. I mean, no offense, but no.
BULL: Not even a little?
MATADOR: Dude, please.
MATADOR: I’m going through something right now.
BULL: My name’s Barry, by the way.
BULL: Hey, Stu.
MATADOR: What’s up?
BULL: We ever met before?
MATADOR: I’ve seen you around I think, but—
MATADOR: —I don’t think we’ve ever really met really.
BULL: So tell me about her.
MATADOR: Well, she didn’t smile much, but when she did it was really quite stunning.
MATADOR: She had a funny habit of taking some of her calls out in the hallway.
MATADOR: Like, she wouldn’t talk on the phone in front of me. She’d leave the room and talk outside.
BULL: Oookay. Little weird.
MATADOR: And she was constantly getting texts. Like, all the time.
BULL: From who?
MATADOR: She wouldn’t say. But then I didn’t ask.
BULL: You didn’t ask?
MATADOR: No. You know, for all the times her phone would go off with texts, I never once said: “Who’s that?”
BULL: Really? Wow.
MATADOR: You know how much willpower that takes?
BULL: Sure. You gotta be strong like a me.
MATADOR: Let’s see, what else? She hadn’t spoken to her father in a long time.
MATADOR: Yeah, I know.
BULL: And she was the one who walked out? You’re the one who should’ve walked out.
BULL: Bro, definitely.
MATADOR: Yeah, you’re right.
BULL: Of course! Hey, did you ever think that maybe she just left to make a call? Like, maybe she’s just out in the hallway talking to someone on the phone?
MATADOR: No. I went out there. She’s gone.
BULL: Oh, okay.
MATADOR: She was very judgmental.
BULL: You know, I’m starting to really dislike this girl.
MATADOR: She said she didn’t want me killing bulls anymore. She said what we do to you guys is cruel and violent and she wanted me to stop doing it.
BULL: You know, I’m starting to really like this girl.
